Impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIASS) in the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight SENDIASS is an impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) that aims to make a positive and lasting difference for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) and their parents and carers. We do this by providing timely confidential, impartial information, advice and support through our online resources, at events and workshops, via our helpline service and through individual casework.

Isle of Wight SENDIASS is provided by Polaris Children’s Services, part of a leading Children’s Services Group with over 24 years of experience in supporting children, young people and their families to build brighter futures.

Isle of Wight Local Offer

The Local Offer includes information about education, health, social care, preparation for adulthood, leisure services and impartial information advice and support. Isle of Wight’s Local Offer (co produced with parents, carers and young people) aims to help you find your way through the maze of information to reach the best solutions for you/your child.
